La Route des Vine d'Alsace
EGUISHEIM
We arrived early in the morning on
Sunday....as the bells were tolling for church.
We walked around the ring road...the only
tourists in sight...as the echos of bells rang
through the alleys for over 15 minutes.
The bells didn't end...they rung out, it seemed,
just for us.  The cobblestones danced between
the crowded towering homes.  The alleys
between the buildings welcomed sunlight to
creep through and dry the morning dew off the
cascading window flowers.

Chateau de Hohlandsbourg
is a crumbling fortress atop the
wine hills of the region.

The views are breathtaking.
The castle is fun for kids to explore
Alsace is filled with cute villages,
it's famous storks, wine
vineyards and wine cellars
begging you to drop by for a visit.
KASERBURG
We love Kayersburg.
Come take a stroll through
the village and marvel at the
wonderful buildings and
bubbling brooks.
Find the local pottery place.
Enjoy some ice cream and
the local music.
Beauty even comes at the
most surprising
I remember that there was so many
heads on the house.  Also I
counted all of the heads and there
was 112 heads on the house.  Rick
Steves was wrong, because his
book said there was 102 heads but
there was a lot more than that.
