| We spent a day in eastern Switzerland taking a trip from Lindau, Germany (our home base for three days) We left our digital camera at the hotel and all we had was the film camera....and it was raining non-stop Don't let the lack of pictures dissuade you from visiting this area. We drove all over the area. Stopping in the village of Appenzell, exploring a great outdoor market in the rain and their cute, wonderful folk museum in Ursnasch....and then on to the Appenzeller Cheese Museum in Stein. |
| An absolutely great little museum on the folk life of Switzerland....furniture, antiques, cowbells, costumes from the local festivals. It was very interesting and the kids loved it. |
