| CRUISING THE CARIBBEAN In addition to our travels to Europe...our family also likes to cruise...and our favorite destination is the Caribbean. We love being on the go....and cruising offers a lot of advantages. Sometimes in one seven night cruise...you will visit British, Latin and French cultures.....sometimes Dutch and the good old USA. Each island offers something different. Keep in mind each of these islands has been visited on a short term basis....just a couple hours in port...so we are offering reviews on only what we have personally done. We have visited some more than once or twice. It also helps that my best friend is a travel agent with CruiseOne. If you do not have a travel agent for cruise, I guarantee you great service with a smile from a person you can trust. |

Aruba--Horseback Riding and Snorkel What made this so great was that it was Mom and the three kids...in a private group with our guide Monique. (Shoretrips.com) 4. Xcerat--Cozumel is an ecological archeaological park with Mayan ruins, aquariums, a lazy river with snorkeling, beaches and lagoons 5. Sailing in Antigua This is THE island for sailing and snorkeling 6. Top Excursions 1. GRENADA--We hire a private driver, Cuttie We asked the Tourism Board (sitting at a desk in the port terminal) to recommend a good taxi driver and used him for a private driver for the day. 2. SCUBA DIVING. Most of the times, Rick simply researches the dive shops and popular diving sites on the internet before leaving home....This is how we found Scuba Dogs in Peurto Rico, and scuba dived in Antigua, Mykonos etc. 3. BERMUDA We bought a bus pass and used our Frommer's guide book and took off exploring the island and its beaches for four days. |
