Family Travels
Lindau
We love this quaint little vacation town of Lindau,
on Lake Constance ...the Germany and Austrian
border.

We accidentally found Lindau in 1990.  We were
trying to get to Neuschwanstein...but didn't make
a train change...before we knew it...they were
asking for passports (which we didn't have with
us) because we were leaving Germany...oops

We got off in Lindau and loved it.
We definitely wanted to bring our kids there.
So we returned in 2002 and used it a home-base
to Bavaria, Germany and Appenzell Switzerland
and Liechtenstein

Lichtenstein
We spent a quick hour or so visiting this small
country.  If you stop by the post office, they will
stamp you passport for a small fee.
