| Again, we booked a Shoretrips excursion...A beach day at a for them as part of their Christmas just three days before. Amanda got her first diving lesson Brent got to go jet skiing (and shared a ride with his sister) (Erica's excursion was horseback riding in Aruba) |

| Margarita Island Venezuela |
| The day we arrived at Margarita Island...we awoke to a overcast rainy day. We went to the purser's desk and canceled the shore excursion to an all inclusive resort. We went back to bed and woke up at late at 11:00...oops So we only saw the port....but there were the most incredible bargains on jewelry. Margarita Island is called Pearl Island The brackish water pearls are special I bought a strand for $20 and earrings for $5 The kids bought a ton of souvenirs...including sarongs wraps, pottery, jewelry, baseball caps. |

| This port of call really has nothing to offer. In an effort to attract tourist business, they have built a port pier on a resort...so most of the shore excursion are resort themed--golf, horseback riding, etc... We chose to take an excursion to a private island....although it was nice...it didn't offer much more than a beach and water...and a long boat ride out there |
